Some people can have what they consider to be a misshapen nose. This may be down to naturally inherited genes or as a result of trauma or injury. The nose’s irregular form could presents itself as crooked or having a bump (also known as a ‘Dorsal hump’), that may have further developed over time.
However, when the nose’s form has been disrupted by the impact of trauma, the healing process sees calcium deposits forming at the point of injury, that can produce a bump to appear from the build-up.
This condition can make a person feel uncomfortable with their appearance and self-conscious, feeling that others are drawn to what they consider to be this imperfection.
